FINSIG'03 will be held on May 19, 2003 in Tietotalo-building at Tampere University of Technology (TUT),Tampere, Finland. TUT is located in Hervanta, the street address of Tietotalo is Korkeakoulunkatu 1. Travel by bus from downtown takes 20-35 minutes (approx. 9 km).
To Tampere - you can travel with SAS via Stockholm or by Finnair via
Helsinki. It is the most convenient to take a taxi to TUT campus.
To Helsinki -
busses
to Tampere leave about in an hour.
Take bus 20 or bus 13 (or taxi). The bus stop is on the main street opposite to Stockmann in front of the railway station.
In Hervanta, you should get off the bus at shopping center and cross the street (Insinöörinkatu). The university campus is located behind another street (Hervannan valtaväylä).
The main bus station is located a few hundred meters off the main street, Hämeenkatu. Take bus 30 (or taxi). The bus stop is in front of the bus station along the street Hatanpään valtatie.

From Helsinki
From Helsinki-Tampere highway take the off-ramp to
"Hervanta". By following the signs to Hervanta you will
arrive at a crossroads with signposts to the TUT campus ("TTY"). See also map of travel instructions.
From Vaasa
When approaching from Vaasa, you will drive along
Paasikiven-Kekkosentie, which will be followed by
Hervannan valtaväylä. From that road, signposts guide
you to the TUT campus ("TTY").
From Pori
From the Pori road take the off-ramp to "Hervanta", from
which you will be signposted to the TUT campus ("TTY").
From Jyväskylä
When approaching Tampere from Jyväskylä, take the
off-ramp to "Hervanta" after the off-ramp to the centre of
the city. From that road you will be signposted to the TUT campus ("TTY").
