SPAGU project startedSPAGU project started in the beginning of SeptemberThe project SPAGU (Smart Spaces for Personal Guidance) started on September 1st, 2011. The purpose of the project is to design and implement user tracking and guidance systems which would be suitable in various spaces such as museums and parking halls. The aim is to develop cost-effective solutions which the users could utilize without expensive devices. The solutions are envisioned to be based on lights which are embedded in the environment to guide the visitors of the spaces. In addition to TUT IHTE, Metropolia University of Applied Sciences, the city of Espoo and several industrial companies participate in the project. IHTE is responsible for studying and designing for the user experience in the project. SPAGU project is funded from Tekes.s TILA programme, and will last until 30.4.2013. 22.9.2011 << News headlines |
