Human-Centered Design
IHSU: Human-Centered Design Study Module 25crHuman Centered Design (IHSU) is a multidisciplinary study module. It focuses on giving a human viewpoint on design for technology students. The goal is to understand human behaviour and the potential to change and support human and organizational behaviour through technology. IHSU courses combine theory, methods and practice from the fields of applied psychology and human-computer interaction. The Human Centered Design study module is an independent minor subject, which is open for all technology students. Check IHSU's applicability for your degree programme from the study guide or study instructor. IHSU study module is illustrated in the picture below. Courses that appear in black are organized by IHTE. Gray courses are other TUT's courses, and the course marked in green (VTOPS104) is organized by the Tampere Unit for Computer-Human Interaction (TAUCHI) and requires a JOO study right. Read more about JOO-studies here. Click courses in the picture to go to their web pages.
