MoBiS
In MoBiS project (A usability
and
productivity measurement toolbox to develop successful mobile business
services) knowledge from the fields of usability
and
business performance is combined in order to develop, implement and
deploy the
tools for measuring the
success of mobile business services. Duration of MoBiS is
1.1.2008-31.12.2009.
Goals
The goals of MoBiS project build on the
results of
MOMENTO
project (2006-2007). The main goals are:
- to identify key business impacts (i.e benefits) of mobile
business services and their usability
- to customize the MoBiS tools for the
companies,
- to help the companies to deploy the MoBiS tools
- to develop strategies and practices to apply the MoBiS
tools in the companies.
Methods
The approach in MoBiS is
multidisciplinary. We combine existing measurement traditions from the
fields of usability and business performance measurement to provide a
holistic view on the success of mobile business services. To make sure
that the tools meet the needs of their users (i.e., companies
developing and deploying mobile business services), we will conduct
several case studies where the tools will be tested with existing
services.
