PurposeS

The overall course "Network Analysis and Dimensioning" consists of two parts. In the first part basic knowledge of queuing systems and network simulations is given. Network simulations and queuing theory are two of the most important tools within the scope of the teletraffic theory that allows to establish a connection between mathematical abstractions and real world applications.

Requirements

It is not strictly required for participants to have in-depth knowledge of probability theory and stochastic processes. Basic knowledge of these disciplines (necessary to understand the course) will be given.
