Course Info:

Goal: Intermediate level knowledge of RF-ASIC development and monolithic implementation of RF components

Contents: 1. Description and fabrication steps of CMOS, Bipolar and SiGe processes.

2. Monolithic RF components such as resistors, capacitors, transistors etc. and their characterization.

3. Basics of physical implementation of the integrated communication systems front-end blocks.

Requirements: Exam.

Recommended prerequisites:

  1. TLT-8016 Basic Analog Circuits, 6 cr (link to course page) or equivalent knowledge.
  2. TLT-8106 Basic Communication Circuits, 4 cr (link to course page) or equivalent knowledge.
