Goal: Design and build a scaled PCB version of an RF-ASIC for modern receiver and transmitter architectures. The student's B.Sc. thesis will be based on the work done in this seminar.
1. Presentations and discussions concerning topics related to the
design, analysis, and implementation of RF circuits.
Requirements: Study, design, simulate, build and measure the printed circuit board (PCB) of a new GHz-range circuit (such as an LNA, VCO/ICO, PA, PLL, T/H etc.) scaled down in frequency. Measured performance of the completed PCB version, which meets the specifications and written report.
