Passwords ensure that no one except the owner of the accout can use the account. Because of this you are never to let anybody know your password and it must be chosen so that it's not easy to guess. From this page you find some instructions for picking a good password and changing your password.
IMPORTANT: Only you should know your password. Never tell your password to anyone, not even the administration - the real administrators do not need to know your password and will never ask for it. Also never send your password over e-mail or over an unencrypted communication channel.
