The MATLAB code for the statistical reconstruction method, sequential maximum a posteriori expectation maximization (sMAP-EM), is available here: sMAPEM.m

The parameter file, Parameters.mat, is used for the input of the code. It includes a sample data and the parameters of the reconstruction.

The definition of the parameters used in sMAPEM reconstructions are given in readme.txt.

The parameter file includes projection data of a single slice orthogonal to the tilt axis. For the other slices of the 3D volume, different parameter files should be prepared. Then, these parameter files can be used to reconstruct the 3D volume slice by slice either in parallel using any computer grid or in sequence using a personal computer.
