INCF National Node of Finland

Introduction

The International Neuroinformatics Coordination Facility (INCF) was established through the Global Science Forum of the OECD to develop an international neuroinformatics infrastructure. It currently includes 16 member countries. Each INCF member country establishes a National Node to foster the development of neuroinformatics and to interface with the INCF.

The INCF National Node of Finland was established in 2007. The node is located in Tampere, the third largest city in Finland. Coordination is hosted by the Department of Signal Processing at Tampere University of Technology.

The INCF National Node of Finland is funded by the Academy of Finland (2008-09, 2010-11; 2012-15).
