Tampere Doctoral Programme in Information Science and Engineering (TISE)
Tampere Doctoral Programme in Information Science and Engineering (TISE) is a doctoral (PhD) programme, offered jointly by Tampere University of Technology (TUT) and University of Tampere (UTA). In TISE it is possible to obtain doctoral degrees in the areas of the participating departments and disciplines. The participating departments and disciplines are Communications Engineering, Computer Systems, Electronics, Mathematics, Signal Processing, and Software Systems in TUT and Computer Sciences, Information Studies and Interactive Media, and Mathematics and Statistics in the School of Information Sciences at UTA. When starting at the MSc level, an average student should be able to complete the doctoral degree in TISE in four years.
