TST-1306 MASTER'S THESIS SEMINAR, 1 cr

The seminar is intended to students who are studying in the international master’s degree programme in information technology or radio frequency electronics and who are planning to start their master’s thesis project soon. Exchange students who have been accepted to prepare their theses in the Faculty of Computing and Electrical Engineering are recommended to take this thesis seminar.

Lectures (6h)

The seminar will be given once a year. It includes three compulsory lectures of two hours each.

- Thursday 24 November 2011 at 14:15 – 16:00 and
- Thursday 1 December 2011 at 14:15 – 16:00 and
- Thursday 8 December 2011 at 14:15 – 16:00
Lecture room is TB104 in Tietotalo building (notice: the class room has been changed)

Seminar presentations

In addition to the lectures, it is recommended that the students follow at least a few seminar presentations given by the students who are currently in the process of preparing their master’s theses in the Faculty of Computing and Electrical Engineering. The titles of the presentations are updated weekly to the seminar programme. Presentations from the areas of communications engineering, digital and computer electronics and signal processing are given on Fridays at 9-11 in TB219. Presentations in software systems are given on Fridays at 9-11 in TB109.
