Tampere, Finland

Following
the three successful previous events of WCSB, Tampere University of
Technology will host the next WCSB event in Tampere, June 2006.
WCSB aims at bringing together the various communities involved in the
different aspects of computational systems biology research. The
scientific program will include
invited plenary talks, special sessions as well as regular sessions
with contributed research papers.
Selected papers will be published as
proceedings. Topics of interest for submissions include, but are not
limited to:
- Applications
of Image Processing in Systems Biology
- Discrete
Models and Ensemble Approach in Theoretical Biology
- Simulation,
Modeling and Data Analysis in Systems Biology
- Applications
of Computational Methods in Cell and Molecular Biology
Note: paper submission deadline
has been extended until 5.3.2006.
This is because there will be a Biopattern steering group meeting in Tampere
in June. The deadline was extended by two weeks, such that
those attending the Biopattern meeting can join us, too.
