Following the four successful events (WCSB 2006, 2005, 2004, and 2003) hosted by Tampere University of Technology, Finland, the fifth WCSB event (WCSB 2008) hosted by the University of Leipzig, Germany, the sixth WCSB event (WCSB 2009) hosted by Aarhus University, Denmark, the seventh WCSB event (WCSB 2010) hosted by University of Luxembourg, and the eighth WCSB (WCSB 2011) hosted by ETH Zürich, Swizerland, the next WCSB event will take place in Ulm University, Germany in June 2012.
WCSB aims at bringing together the various communities involved in the different aspects of computational systems biology research, e.g. experimental biology, machine learning, signal processing, mathematics, statistics, and theoretical physics. The scientific program includes invited plenary talks as well as regular sessions with contributed research talks and posters.
