FIRST LECTURE, August 30, 2006, Wednesday, 12.15 - 14.00, in TB 222.

• Contents: Discrete-time signals and systems in time and frequency domain, z-transform, DFT and FFT, etc.

• Requirements: Obligatory registration at OINFO, classroom exercises and Matlab programming mini-project, final exam, Exercises should be accepted before exam participation.

• Textbook:

Sanjit Mitra, Digital Signal Processing: A Computer-Based Approach, 3^rd edition, McGraw Hill, 2005.

All students are entitled of borrowing one copy of the textbook for the time of the course. In order to get a book from the library, the student should be registered at OINFO.

Register by September 4, 2006. The library will be giving the books to registered students on September 5, 2006.
