Dear International Students,
 
I have received inquiries whether the course "8003203 Digitaalinen audio"
can be passed in English language. The lectures, lecture material, 
and exercises are in Finnish, as you already know.
 
The English source material for the course can be obtained from me
(Anssi Klapuri, room TC 316). Reading the source material is enough 
to participate the exam. Source material is also listed in
the table on the web-page of the course.
 
However, it is obvious to me that passing the course by
using the source material (not the lecture notes) is 
significantly harder than for Finnish students.
For this reason, I do not require the exercise work from
international students. Even in this case, I think this option
for passing the course in English is designed for those that 
REALLY want to take the course ;).

If you want to take the course, please drop me an e-mail before
the exam, so I know to prepare the exam in English, too. -Best,
