We have also developed a coarse-grain reconfigurable computing array, BUTTER, which is currently controlled by the COFFEE RISC. It is planned that the reconfigurable array will be integrated as a part a larger computing platform for high-end embedded applications. There we need to have also demonstration applications to be mapped on the array. Especially, we are interested in image processing / machine vision for robotics applications, and advanced audio processing in high-end multimedia teleconferencing systems applying microphone arrays. You should have knowledge on these or some other interesting application areas and some embedded software (C-language) background. Knowledge on processor hardware is also preferable.
