Hi! I am Danai Skournetou. I decided to enter the Great Internet Mass and become a small particle of it with the creation of this page.

To briefly introduce my-self:

I was born in June 1982 in Athens, Greece, and grew up in a small but lovely village, called Aspra Spitia. After I finished High School, moved to Athens where I did my BSc studies in Informatics and Telecommunications, in University of Athens. In January 2005, I went to Finland as an exchange student and this decision was the beginning of a new life. I returned back to Finland to continue my studies and in October 2007, I obtained my MSc degree in Information Technology from Tampere University of Technology. Currently, I am a PhD student in the same University, in the Department of Communications Engineering, where I also work as a researcher in Digital Signal Processing (DSP) methods for Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS).
