The
eleventh Symposium on Programming Languages and
Software Tools (SPLST'09) and seventh
Nordic Workshop on Model Driven Software Engineering (NW-MODE'09) are
organized in Tampere, Finland, by Tampere
University of
Technology in
co-operation with University of Tampere.
The
purpose of
the Symposium on
Programming Languages and
Software Tools is to
provide a forum for software scientists to present and
discuss recent researches and developments in computer science. This
symposium
is the eleventh in a series of conferences which started in 1989 in Szeged, Hungary.
Since then it has been organized every two years
.
The seventh Nordic
Workshop on Model
Driven Software
Engineering brings
together industry practitioners and academic
researchers to
share experiences and latest research on model driven software
engineering and
development. This year the workshop places special emphasis in
facilitating
dialogue between industry and the academia. Therefore, in addition to
research
papers, the workshop is looking forward to bringing in industrial
presentations
on both the experiences and open research problems related to model
driven
software development.
