In my view, during the last decade (Finnish) universities have been moving to directions that are in the long run harmful for the mission of universities: they are over managed and administrated so that it (in worst case) no longer serves teaching and research, i.e. the actual purpose of universities. I share Prof. Kai Koskimies' view of what a university should be, as he writes in the manifesto below.Lean University Manifesto
Software Engineering Research - a small study of current conference practises
We have studied the practices used in software engineering conferences for paper evaluation. The results of the analysis and our more detailed recommendations are discussed in our paper draft titled Inbreeding in Software Engineering Conferences?.Then something about me in Finnish....
